Derek, Graduated: 2010, Degree: MSc Banking and Finance
Having my master degree at the University of Leicester was one of the greatest decisions I have ever made. Before I started this course I did my undergraduate studies at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Thanks to the teaching and support given from my department, I did have a fruitful year and equipped myself much better for the financial field. Expertise like valuation and analysis techniques I have acquired in this course is definitely useful for my whole career life.
After working a couple years at Deutsche Bank in the UK, I have now moved back to HK currently working at HSBC. Though real world practice is totally different from those written on textbooks, solid basic knowledge learnt in my master degree does help me make things easier.
