Start your journey into teaching with KCSCITT
Do you want to train to be a teacher but want to get into school straight away? Our training programme is for you! We offer a one-year teacher training course with the option of studying for a PGCE alongside your in-school teacher training.
Puts you in school from day one; learning from experienced teachers and putting your skills into practice from the beginning. We run a comprehensive, central training programme. You will receive high-quality training from subject specialists and experienced educators; preparing you to be an outstanding teacher in the future.
Your first day starts in your school and you are released one to two days a week for central training with the SCITT and subject-specific training, with the other days being in school, on the ground and learning from experienced colleagues.
