Graduated from uni…what next?
Why not volunteer overseas? Skillshare ICS offer fully funded overseas volunteering opportunities for graduates like you. Apply today and you could be in South Africa, Lesotho or Botswana by January, falling in love with another way of life.
Why volunteer overseas with Skillshare ICS?
Skillshare ICS gives you a chance to create a life that feels good on the inside. Not one that just looks good on the outside. You will be given a chance to step outside your comfort zone, re-evaluate your outlook and change your life, all whilst making a difference to people who need it the most. It’s an opportunity to do something amazing, whilst boosting your own skills, experiences and employability. You could spend 10 incredible weeks working in South Africa, Lesotho or Botswana on projects that have a real impact on improving peoples’ quality of life.
What will I do?
You will be placed with a host family, allowing you to embrace a new culture and get to know the community. Working in a team with both UK and local volunteers, you’ll build new friendships and challenge yourself to support a local community organisation. We’ll support and fund you every step of the way, from getting the right travel jabs to pre-departure training, making sure you’re equipped to make the most of your experience.
“My ICS placement with Skillshare International was the happiest 10 weeks of my life. I was placed with a host family in Lesotho, it is easily the most inspirational, beautiful and happiest country I have ever been to. If you’re thinking about doing ICS, stop thinking about it and just apply.”
Ciaran Maxwell, ICS Volunteer
How much will it cost?
Skillshare ICS won’t cost you a penny as it is fully funded by the UK Government. We cover the cost of all your expenses including flights, visas, vaccinations, travel and medical insurance, food and accommodation. You’ll even be provided with a small allowance whilst you are away. So what have you got to lose?
