The Royal Photographic Society is Calling for Entries!

Calling for entries: The Royal Photographic Society International Photography Exhibition 160

The RPS is calling for entries of engaging, visually striking and inspiring work across all genres for the International Photography Exhibition (IPE) 160. This year marks the 160th edition of the IPE, making it the longest running photographic exhibition of its kind in the world.  Each year it provides a fascinating insight into the range and diversity of contemporary and traditional photography.

Taking the form of a competition, with entries encouraged from both amateur and professional photographers throughout the world, the images will be selected for the exhibition by a panel of experts. 2017 sees an entirely female panel, with Karin Bareman, Exhibitions & Projects Organiser for Autograph ABP, Zelda Cheatle curator, editor, lecturer and consultant in photography, Ingrid Pollard, photographer, media artist and researcher, and photographers and former IPE exhibitors Abbie Trayler-Smith and Sian Davey, on board. The panel will also select Gold, Silver and Bronze award winners. The exhibition will open as part of PHOTOBLOCK at The Old Truman Brewery, London, in October, before embarking on a nationwide tour.
